Terms of Use
Last updated: August 3, 2025
The management of LedgerCPD reserves the right to view any information you submit on our platform.
We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or delete your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for other legitimate reasons.
After you have downloaded your certificate, LedgerCPD may delete the course content or restrict your access to that course at any time.
- Each course may be used only once to earn its designated CPD hours.
- If you wish to earn additional CPD hours from the same course, you must purchase the course again.
All course purchases are final. Our system does not support issuing refunds under any circumstances.
Our CPD courses are designed for accounting professionals. The acceptance of CPD hours by any professional body or institution is subject to that body's own rules and discretion. LedgerCPD does not guarantee that any institute of accountants or other professional bodies will accept hours earned through our courses.
By ticking the confirmation checkbox at the end of a course, you acknowledge that you have completed all required videos, readings, and quizzes. Once confirmed, your certificate is activated for download and evidences that you have earned the stated CPD hours.
- It is your responsibility to fully complete each course before confirming completion.
- You must download and securely store your certificate immediately; LedgerCPD does not guarantee online storage beyond five (5) years.
LedgerCPD certificates are backed solely by the fact that the owner of LedgerCPD is a CPA (Canada) member. We can provide proof of course completion for up to five (5) years upon request.
The methods, styles, and formats of course delivery are creative works of the owner of LedgerCPD. They are not directed by any accounting body, except that the CPD credit of "one hour = one unit" aligns with guidance from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
LedgerCPD is not liable for any failure to complete a course due to technological issues, website malfunctions, or payment failures. Our sole obligation is to issue a certificate when you have legitimately completed a course; beyond that, we assume no liability.
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the platform after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our platform. If you have questions, contact us at support@ledgercpd.com.
